Making opportunity accessible to people with disabilities across Canada
March of Dimes Canada is bringing people with disabilities an online employment services program — no matter where in Canada you live or what barriers you face.
Like our in-person services, this new online program will connect you to the employment training, assistance, and support you need to become more independent and financially secure in whatever career you choose.
Online Employment Services for people who need it, at no cost.
Online support is tailored to you:
- Your desire to connect to job opportunities is what makes you eligible for Online Employment Services.
- We assist you with personalized job plans, resume creation, interview coaching, and more at every step — from initial exploration and job search up to job preparation.
- This includes virtual assessments that will identify your strengths and challenges at every phase of your employment journey, and ongoing on-the-job support once you’re successfully hired.
- You’ll never be overlooked because of where you live. We realize that people with disabilities across Canada, including in rural, remote, and northern areas, face specific obstacles that can keep them from employment opportunities. Our aim is to create inclusivity and equal access wherever you call home.
- We’re collaborating with community agencies providing services to people with disabilities, aiming to offer webinars and educational sessions covering various aspects of employability.
- Times and situations change, so we’ll be constantly evaluating the program to ensure it meets your current needs, whenever you connect with us.
